The demise of Canyon forced the late release of this record, which was eventually issued on Williams Fungus Records in 1973. Featuring strong domestic-situation songs and a powerful rap, these sides were recorded with Swamp Doggs backing band (who truly had that Muscle Shoals sound) and delivers a hard socking, gospelfide, funk-filled Southern Soul gem.
